ATID – the Israeli Society for the Study and Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome – is a non-profit organization established in 1999 by Dr. Anat Shatz, in order to reduce the number of SIDS cases in Israel by educating the public and health professionals to take precautions for preventing SIDS, and increasing the awareness to our ability to control the risk factors. In addition, ATID provides emotional support for families who lost a baby in a sudden and unexpected way, and it is involved in promoting the research in the field
